Bike for Good is a Glasgow-based social enterprise and registered charity that aims to improve physical and mental health, reduce carbon emissions, and provide affordable transport by raising the profile of Cycling in Glasgow. To achieve these aims, we help commuters become less dependent on single-occupancy cars, refurbish and resell bikes, deliver training in the use and maintenance of bikes, an

d many other projects. Our refurbished bikes are available to buy every day we're open (Monday-Saturday). To book a cycling lesson, maintenance course, or for other inquiries, give us a call on 0141 248 5409.

We're looking for a Trustee Treasurer to join our Board and support our mission of getting more people cycling across Glasgow and beyond.

This voluntary role is ideal for someone with finance, accountancy, charity or social enterprise experience who wants to use their skills to make a real impact in their community.

You don't need to be a cyclist, just passionate about helping a charity create positive change.

Keep yer eyes peeled for free bike check ups happening this summer.
Dr Bike is an on the spot MOT for your bike. We'll fine tune your bike to keep it in top notch condition and alert you to any serious issues.
We'll be popping up at various events for the Commonwealth Festival, but you can also request a Dr Bike happens at your place of work. It's the most economical way of keeping all your cycle commuters ticking along throughout the season, with their bikes being ready for collection at the end of their shift.

Whether you're looking for your next bike, need a repair, want to learn some maintenance skills, or are simply curious about what we do, we'd love to welcome you to Bike for Good at both our South and West Hubs!

The Young Mechanics course runs every week at Bike for Good South. It's a free course giving participants a CyTech Level 1 qualification and the knowledge of how to take a bike to pieces and then get it rideable again.

If you'd like to learn how to fix your bike, interested in becoming a mechanic by trade or even just want to build up muscle memory with widely-used tools, this is a cracking way to spend a few afternoons.

Chris provides some expert knowledge and some corker DJ sets, and it's free to attend for anyone between 14-25.
