Bike for Good is a Glasgow-based social enterprise and registered charity that aims to improve physical and mental health, reduce carbon emissions, and provide affordable transport by raising the profile of Cycling in Glasgow. To achieve these aims, we help commuters become less dependent on single-occupancy cars, refurbish and resell bikes, deliver training in the use and maintenance of bikes, and many other projects. Our refurbished bikes are available to buy every day we're open (Monday-Saturday). To book a cycling lesson, maintenance course, or for other inquiries, give us a call on 0141 248 5409.

Student Discount for September!

Freshers Week is a great time to get yourself a bike, and from 1–30 September, students can get 10% off refurbished bikes at Bike for Good, plus affordable new and used accessories to get you properly set up for cycling around Glasgow. We've got bikes for every purpose: road bikes, mountain bikes, single speeds, vintage/retro and plenty more...alongside all the bits you'd need to keep it going.

Our Intermediate Group Rides head out from our West Hub every Wednesday, 1–4pm.
Explore Glasgow by bike, discover new routes and enjoy riding as part of a friendly group. 💚

New bike for good staff member Mabel is absolutely smashing it!

Young Mechanics is a programme open to anyone under 25 who fancies learning how to take a bike apart and then stick it all back together. Mabel completed the course last year and they are already back with us teaching it to the next cohort.

Join the cargo bike movement!

Sometimes a cargo bike really can replace a car. Rufus recently borrowed one of our eCargo bikes to move his belongings in and out of storage:

“I’m too young to hire a car and taxis aren’t too happy moving lots of stuff, so I don’t know what I would have done without the eCargo bike. Being able to hire it for free made it all the more accessible, and being able to hold on to the bike overnight meant I could fit my move into a busy 9–5 schedule.”

Cargo bikes are great for moving house, doing the big shop, transporting equipment and carrying much more than a usual bike can handle. And a perfect way to not automatically reach for the car.
