⚽️ 2nd 11s League Match Report ⚽️
After a disappointing result in our midweek friendly against Blantyre, we changed things up a little today and challenged the boys to give us one thing above all else — a real team performance.
What a response they gave. 👏
From the first whistle to the last, the work rate, determination and togetherness were outstanding. Every single player put in a shift for their teammates, battled for every ball and never stopped working.
The result was a fully deserved 4-1 victory. 💪
On another day, if we’d been a bit more clinical in front of goal, the scoreline could have been even bigger. Credit to Camby, who also played some really good football and made it a great game.
Picking a Man of the Match was nearly impossible today because every single boy played their part and gave absolutely everything for the team. In the end, we went with two worthy winners:
🏆 Logan Shields
An outstanding performance in the middle of the park. Logan dug deep all game, chased everything down and seemed to be everywhere, winning interceptions and breaking up attacks think you can see from his red face how much a shift he put in .
🏆 Alfie
A constant threat through the middle. His pace was frightening today and caused problems all afternoon. Unlucky not to come away with a hat-trick after a brilliant display.
Most importantly, today wasn’t about individuals — it was about a team playing for each other. The attitude, effort and togetherness shown by the boys today made us all proud.

Well done lads, enjoy the win! 💚⚽️👏
