It’s been a real pleasure welcoming a number of important visitors to the Club in recent weeks, including:

• Councillor Lilith Johnstone
• Lord Provost of Glasgow Jacqueline McLaren

Each visitor had the opportunity to meet some of our fantastic volunteers and support staff, hearing first-hand about the work they do and what makes Hillhead such a special place.

We’re looking forward to welcoming more councillors, MPs and MSPs to Hughenden over the coming months as we continue to strengthen relationships and showcase the important role the Club plays in our community and across Glasgow.

We’re proud to welcome BBC Alba and Alastair Condie, who together are creating a social media series about trying out new sports and showcasing how sport can be inclusive for everyone.

Our Ultimate Frisbee team will be welcoming Alastair for a try-out on Wednesday (9 Sep)👏

‘CLUB TOGETHER’ – MANY ‘HILLS’ MAKE LIGHT WORK 💪 🙌

Our first new monthly ‘Club Together’ volunteer session is on Sunday 6 September, starting with a quick and easy tidy-up and litter pick around Hughenden 👇

No specialist knowledge is required, and just an hour or so of your time can make a big difference. There will be free tea/coffee and breakfast rolls for volunteers.

Open to all girls between 12 and 17. Everyone welcome so if you have played before and want to join us or you've never given rugby a go, you'll be made to feel at home at Hills.
