Competitions will be held in 4 regions in February (Northern, Nordic, Eastern, Central)
Europe’s Strongest will then be held in Austria 🇦🇹 in May

Natural Strongman Open 2027 Events.
Please note, in the next week, we will be posting stats collected from our overall leaderboard last year as well as data gathered from other competitions to show why we have selected these weights and events. We have selected events and weights to fit the format and to also try and make a fun and exciting comp that also finds the best athletes. We understand no system is perfect, but we believe that this is the best way to make this work. Again, we implore anyone who has questions too watch the nationals events from Scotland, England, Ireland and Wales 2026 to see how it worked.
UK & Irish dates and venues will be released later today, with the rest of the regions following very shortly after.

The Natural Strongman Open 2027
Over January and February there will be competitions hosted across the world using the same events, the same weights, the same standards, and the same specification kit. Each competition will have its own title, but will also be part of a global leaderboard, allowing for an overall champion, as well as worldwide leaders in each category. This will also be used to allow progression further down the pathway, including worlds.

Tomorrow we will release all events and weights, shortly after that we will release all details for each region (North America, UK & Ireland, Europe, and Oceania). We will post each regions details including competition dates, contact details for that competitions promoter etc. This will also be updated on our website.

This system was trialled in the UK & Ireland in 2026, with Scotland, England, Ireland, and Wales’ Strongest and was a great success. We are hoping to use this to continue to try and push strongman to the next level.
