Pranayama - the practice of working consciously with the breath - is one of the eight limbs of yoga and sits at the heart of many traditional yoga practices.
Whether you practise Ashtanga, Hatha, Vinyasa, Yin, meditation or chanting, the breath is already there supporting and influencing everything else.
