If you’re looking for an exercise that gets your heart pumping while building strength and power, the medicine ball slam is a fantastic choice.
It’s one of those movements that works almost your entire body in one go. As you lift the ball overhead and drive it into the floor, you’re challenging your shoulders, back, arms, core and legs, all while improving coordination and explosive power.
It’s also a brilliant conditioning exercise, helping to boost fitness and burn calories, and if you’ve had a stressful day, there’s something incredibly satisfying about slamming a medicine ball into the ground!
