You have to drag yourself out the fire to chase the life you want. That stands for any aspirations in life, not just fitness or sports. The mentality to ‘break the mould’ and conquer what we once feared is what brings the ultimate highs in your journey. 🔑

Self-Determination Theory (SDT) is the most widely used mantra to aide the mindset of elite athletes or professionals within their industries. Focusing your reassurance through Imagery and Self-Talk methods will help you push through that extra barrier of self belief to achieve your goals. 🧠

Here some quick tips to help you conquer your mentality 💡 :

• Focus on reassurance of your abilities from previous experiences.
• Picture yourself performing the task in your mind step-by-step.
• Talk positively to yourself and build up your momentum before performance.
• Do NOT rush, remain calm and composed by controlling emotions.
• Self-evaluate after performing to highlight areas of strength and improvement.
