After a break of a few years, we're delighted to announce that ILC Summer School is back for 2026! 🎉

Many of you will remember our previous summer schools, and we're excited to once again welcome children for a week of learning, friendship, creativity and fun.

⭐ Theme: Stories from the Qur'an ⭐

Join us as we explore inspiring stories from the Qur'an through interactive lessons and hands-on activities designed to bring these stories to life.

📅 Dates: Sunday 12th July – Thursday 16th July
🕥 Time: 10:30am – 2:30pm
👧🧒 Ages: 5–10 years
💷 Cost: £80 per child

Sheikh Gibril will be presenting his latest book, The Meanings of the Inimitable Quran: A Lection-Based Rendering in English at ILC Glasgow TONIGHT, 22nd April at 8PM.

He will explain why this translation is different from others, how it incorporates meanings from the 10 different recitations of the Qur'an (Qira'at) and was produced as a result of his 17-year long translation of Imam al-Baydawi's master Tafsir of the Qur'an.

All praise is due to Allah ﷻ, and peace and blessings be upon the Holy Prophet Muhammad ﷺ.

Following verified moon sighting reports in accordance with accepted criteria, we are pleased to announce that:

1st Shawwal 1447 AH (Eid al-Fitr) will be on
Friday, 20th March 2026

We extend our heartfelt congratulations to all students, parents, staff, and the wider community on this blessed occasion.

May Allah ﷻ accept our fasting, prayers, and good deeds during the month of Ramadan, and grant us all continued guidance, unity, and prosperity. Ameen.

Let us remember those in need and keep the Ummah in our du’as, especially our brothers and sisters facing hardship around the world.

Assalamu Alaikum
Please note that Isha prayer at ILC will begin at 8:30pm, followed by Taraweeh Insha’Allah.
Throughout the blessed month, you will have the opportunity to listen to the beautiful recitation of the Qur’an.
Ladies and children are most welcome. We kindly request that parents ensure younger children observe the etiquettes of the mosque and avoid making noise while others are engaged in listening to the Holy Qur’an.
Please also cooperate with the car parking attendants. If you intend to pray fewer than 20 rak‘ahs, kindly inform the attendants upon arrival so they can guide you to appropriate parking and prevent you from being blocked in.
