Don’t worry though – there are still plenty of sessions running over the next couple of weeks, so make sure you don’t miss out on getting involved!

Glasgow Warriors Summer Camps Are Back – On the Road Again! 🏉

We are incredibly excited to share that the Glasgow Warriors Summer Camps have been announced for this year, and Allan Glens RFC has been fortunate enough to be selected as one of the host venues!

We can’t wait to welcome young players from across the area for what promises to be a fantastic day of rugby, skills development, fun, and making new friends. Whether you’re new to the game or already playing regularly, these camps offer a brilliant opportunity to learn from experienced coaches in a great environment.

Our Annual Players’ Dinner is a chance to reflect on the season, celebrate achievements, and recognise the commitment shown by everyone who pulled on the jersey.

From pre-season through to the final whistle, the dedication, hard work, and team spirit displayed by our players has been outstanding. Rugby is about more than what happens on the pitch—it’s about the friendships, memories, and shared experiences that bring a club together.

Thank you to every player, coach, volunteer, sponsor, and supporter who contributed throughout the season. Here’s to building on this year as we look forward to the next.

A pleasure to announce our coaching team for the Allan Glen’s Men’s Senior 1XV and 2XV squads for the upcoming season.

While these faces will be familiar to many around the club, we’re excited to see them step into these roles and continue their contribution to Allan Glen’s Rugby Club. We wish them every success for the season ahead.

🏉 Bishopton 10s Festival – U17s Results 🏉

A great day of rugby for our Allan Glens U17s, finishing with two wins from three matches:

🔹 Glens 7 – 12 Lanark
🔹 Glens 19 – 14 Bishopton
🔹 Glens 19 – 5 Wigtownshire

That left the boys with two victories and just one narrow defeat. Congratulations to Bishopton, who took the tournament on points difference after a closely contested day of rugby.

A special mention goes to Ethan Smith, who was deservedly named Player of the Day after producing two outstanding Man of the Match performances. A fantastic achievement and recognition of the hard work and quality he has shown throughout the day. 👏🏉

A huge thank you to our coaching staff for all their hard work, commitment and support throughout the season, and to every player who has pulled on the Allan Glens jersey this year. Your effort, dedication and attitude have been a credit to the club.

As the season comes to a close, we would also like to wish the very best to several players who are moving on from the squad. Thank you for everything you have contributed over the years and for the part you have played in this season’s journey:

Our U17s are heading to the Bishopton 10s Festival today, where we’ll face some familiar foes in what promises to be a cracking day of rugby.

We’d like to wish all the teams competing the very best of luck. The standard is always high, and we’re looking forward to some great matches throughout the day.

If you’re free, head along to Bishopton and support the boys as they look to make their mark in the tournament. Your backing from the sidelines is always appreciated.
