After falling 8–0 behind in the early innings, the Eclipse showed exactly why they’ve been one of the surprise packages of the SNBL this season. They fought their way back into the game before putting up 14 unanswered runs to complete an incredible comeback and book their place in the 𝗖𝗮𝗹𝗲𝗱𝗼𝗻𝗶𝗮 𝗖𝘂𝗽 𝗔 𝘀𝗲𝗺𝗶-𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗹𝘀.
Not bad for a team in their first season!

Glasgow AAA also booked their place in the semi-finals in style, putting together a dominant performance to overcome the Rays 12–2.

A fantastic start to the Caledonia Cup for Glasgow Baseball.

Our newest member of the grounds crew: Bonnie!

Yesterday, we had a very special delivery at the bench.

Over the past couple of weeks, Bonnie has been busy exploring the trees and bushes around the field and, in the process, has managed to recover a whole bag of our missing baseballs!

Her owner, Charlie, brought them along today and returned them to the team.

Considering how quickly baseballs seem to disappear at Tollcross, Bonnie may have just earned herself a permanent job.

A massive thank you to Charlie and, of course, to the real MVP, Bonnie.

What an absolute superstar!

⚾️💜 What an incredible total! 💜⚾️

A huge thank you once again to the Glasgow Baseball Association for choosing The Leanne Fund as the beneficiary of their Summer Solstice Charity Game.

We’re absolutely delighted to have received a further donation of £194, bringing the total raised to an amazing £952! 🎉👏

We’re so grateful to everyone involved - from the organisers and players to everyone who came along, donated, cheered from the sidelines and helped make the event such a success.

Your incredible support will help us continue supporting people living with Cystic Fibrosis and their families across Scotland 💜

Thank you for believing in The Leanne Fund and for helping us make a difference. We really appreciate every single penny raised 🫶

CALEDONIA CUP | WILDCARD WEEKEND

The regular season may be over, but there’s still plenty of baseball to play!

This Sunday sees the Caledonia Cup get underway with two Wildcard matchups:

Breakers @ Eclipse

The Eclipse welcome the Breakers to Tollcross as both teams battle for a place in the next round.

Rays @ Glasgow AAA

Glasgow AAA are also in action as they host the Edinburgh Rays.

Win and advance. Lose and the cup run is over.

It’s postseason baseball time!

🌧️ Right, we’ve had enough now.

Feel like we write this post most Wednesdays!

Unfortunately, both Youth Baseball and tonight’s Scrimmage are cancelled again due to the weather and field conditions.

At this point, we’re considering rebranding as the Glasgow Swimming Association. 🏊

Hopefully we’ll see a baseball field again soon.

PLAYER SPOTLIGHT | Emily Waddell

A huge good luck to Comets player Emily Waddell, who is down in Farnham this weekend competing as part of the GB Women’s Development Team!

Emily plays alongside her dad and brother with the Glasgow Comets and continues to develop and improve every week.

It’s fantastic to see one of our players getting the opportunity to represent GB and continue her development at the next level.

Good luck this weekend, Emily! Everyone at Glasgow Baseball is rooting for you!

SNBL Week 20 Results

And with that, the SNBL regular season comes to an end!

Breakers 4–9 Comets

The Comets finish their league-winning season on a high with one final victory, overcoming the Breakers 9–4 at Tollcross.

Eclipse 1–16 Galaxy

The Galaxy secure second place in the league with a dominant performance against the Eclipse. Last year’s home run leader, Keiro Casey, also picked the perfect time to launch his first home run of the season!

That wraps up the 2026 SNBL regular season.

Next up: The Caledonia Cup.
