Trainer Focus: Sean Lazzerini 🤝

With the Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games fast approaching now is a perfect time to introduce our very own Commonwealth Games Gold medalist Sean Lazzerini.

Sean claimed Gold in the Light-Heavyweight division at the 2022 Games in Birmingham. This amazing achievement concluded his fantastic amateur career and he is now an unbeaten professional.

When he’s not doing his own training Sean is one of the busiest trainers in our gym. He works on a 1-1 and small group basis with a wide range of clients. He also leads our Thursday night All Levels Boxing session, as well as assisting with Pads Classes.

If you want to work with someone who really has walked the walk… Sean is your man 🥊🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

RIP Gary “The Heat” Murray 💔

We are saddened to learn of the passing of boxing legend and gentleman Gary Murray.

Gary was a fountain of knowledge and always great to be around. Everyone he coached at our gym during his time coaching his All Levels Boxing class and coaching with Glasgow City Boxing Club learned a lot from him.

Our thoughts are with his family and close friends at this time 🙏🏻
