JMCS CIC Meet Round-Up ๐๏ธ
A proper bluebird start to the weekend gave us two brilliant days on the hill, before deteriorating avalanche conditions on Sunday meant all teams made the sensible call to head home that morning.
Friday saw Lee, Pete & Sean kick things off with Glovers Chimney, finishing the day with a dark ascent of Tower Ridge from the gap, big day out and a proper adventure.
Also on Friday, Jeremy & Oli climbed Vanishing Gully, making the most of the lean but climbable conditions on the first pitch from where things got much better.
Saturday proved popular on Italian Right Hand, with Dave, Tom, Jeremy & Oli joining what seemed like half of Scotland on the route! Classic lines are classic for a reason.
Meanwhile, Mark & Neil got stuck into Compression Crack โ technical and absorbing from start to finish.
After a well-earned lie in, Lee, Pete & Sean switched to Plan B and tackled Gardyloo Gully, complete with a spicy finish to keep things interesting.
Big thanks to everyone for a safe, social and well-managed meet. Great to see strong decision-making when conditions turned. Roll on the next one! โ๏ธ๐ช
