**DENTAL NURSE JOB VACANCY GLASGOW**

We are looking for a full time qualified Dental Nurse to join our team at Parkhead Cross Dental Practice in Glasgow .

Hourly rate £15.50

We are a busy NHS practice with a long standing staff and a friendly atmosphere. Full time hours would be 38.5 hours.
No weekend work and no late nights. Early finish on a Friday.
Practice would cover cost of annual GDC retention.

🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 You’ll notice some changes to NHS dentistry from today. The new changes, implemented by the Scottish Government take effect from Nov 1st.

🦷 NHS patients will be entitled to receive one check up every 6-24 months. Your dentist will carry out a risk assessment to decide how often we will need to see you.

All patients exempt from dental charges will continue to receive treatment at no cost to themselves.

🆘 All emergency appointments now carry a charge unless you are an exempt patient.

💰Some other treatments, which were previously free, now also carry a charge (for example, repairs to dentures and recementing bridges). Unless you are exempt from charges.

All treatment previously provided on the NHS is still available.

🪥 Most treatment prices have increased. You will be informed of the new cost of your dental treatment in the surgery and you will be given a new written estimate at reception.

🦷 Practice Update 🦷
Almost all restrictions were lifted for dental practices on 1st April.
We are operating as normal for almost all patients.
If you are a registered patient you can call to make a checkup appointment at the practice.
We are hopeful of offering check up appointments to new patients soon as we work through our backlog.

Dental practices are still currently working under restrictions. This limits the amount of patients we are able to see. We are currently working through our back log.

If you have had an appointment cancelled due to covid you will be contacted by the practice by text when we are in a position to offer you an appointment.
If your contact details have changed please contact us to update them.

We have a waiting list for new NHS patients and will be contacting these patients as our restrictions ease. Should you or anyone you know wish you be placed on this list please contact us.

We are currently offering NHS appointments for our registered children and also those who are not registered to allow us to assess their dental needs as their teeth are developing. Please contact us should you wish your child seen.

We are a committed NHS practice and are proud to continue to offer a full range of NHS services.

⭐️⭐️Patient update⭐️⭐️
Unfortunately we are still working under severe restrictions at present. We are seeing as many patients as we are able to under these restrictions.

We are now working our way through patients who have had their check ups cancelled due to covid.

If you have had an appointment cancelled we will be contacting you in due course to arrange a check up, there is no need for you to contact the practice.

If you are registered at the practice but haven’t been in for a few years and wish added to the list of patients for checkups please phone so we can add you.

If you wish to register at the practice as a new patient please contact us so we can take your details. We will then contact you as restrictions ease and we are able to see new patients.

If you are experiencing pain or have a broken tooth please contact the practice and we will arrange to have you seen.

🎉🥳 Today marks a very special anniversary at the practice. 40 years ago today our Practice Manager Margaret first entered employment with us. This incredible milestone is a tribute to her incredible work ethic, her professionalism and her dedication. Everyone at the practice and I’m sure all the patients Margaret has helped through the years would like to thank her for everything she has done to make the practice an ongoing success. She is an inspiration to us all and we hope she has many more successful years with us here at the practice. Thank you and well done Mags! 🎈🎊👏
