Crofthead Bowling Club CBC has a large hall for any function other than 18ths holds 120 and able to hold a bouncy castle. we also have a smaller lounge which can be used. All welcome

give us a call or message on facebook for further info. Crofthead Bowling Club is located in the small village of Neilston, East Renfrewshire. The bowling club was originally formed in 1921 as part of the English Sewing Company workers’ recreation club. The original bowling green was situated at Cowden Hall. In 1959 the present bowling green, built by Mill workers, was opened and in the 1990’s the

Club and the Green were purchased by the Members and a Members lounge was built. This was completed in the late 1990’s. Our club is an equal membership club split into 3 sections (Gents, Ladies and Juniors) which currently has around 100 members.

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of recent member Allan Brenchley. Allan wasnt a member for long but loved his bowls and managed to win a cup in his time. He was disappointed he had to give it up due to ill health, he will be missed funeral tbc 😢
