Thursday 10/9 - Back green closed for maintenance. Ladies closing afternoon.
Saturday 12/9 - Adam Cup, closing tournament 3 bowl Pairs.

LOOKING AHEAD

Front green remains open for casual play from Sat 12th until Sat 26th.
19/9 - race night, free entry but tickets to be collected in advance for numbers
3/10 - Presentation Night, sheet in corridor opposite ladies toilet
18/10 - Gents Closing Day at Blantyre Indoor, sheet in locker room.

RESULTS

Tonight's promiscuous was won by Andrew Callaghan, George Batters and Alex Magowan.

And the promiscuous league winner for season 2026 is Alex Magowan.

MAGGIES DONATION

On Saturday 18th July 2026 Alastair Sloan and Drew Paton organised the Danny Costello Ryder Cup to arrange funds for Maggies.

The event was a huge success with players taking part in a competitive but fun team competition. Later in the day there was a supper, raffle and auction and entertainment provided by Stevie of the Butterburn bar and lounge.

The photograph is Alastair and Drew with Danny's wife Margaret presenting the £680.00 cheque to the charity.

The club have since topped this donation up with a further £50.00 which was the prize money won by Eddie and Stewart Tweedlie and Stewart Bowie and Drew Paton at the Butterburn Friendship Day.

Alastair and Drew wish to thank all members for their support and in making the day one we can all remember Danny.

Due to the poor weather forecast for later today, both players in tonight's Handicap final have agreed to rearrange and this will now be played on Sunday 6th September at 2pm.
