Out Velo is a friendly and inclusive LGBT+ road cycling club, with a passion for Britain's wild spaces. We run weekends and day rides right across the UK, often in our National Parks and areas of outstanding natural beauty. We're run by a group of experienced Ride Captains from across the UK's LGBT+ cycling clubs, all of which we work closely with. Our mission is to bring everyone together for great adventures across all nations and regions of the UK.

Merry Christmas everyone 🎄🏳️‍⚧️🏳️‍🌈

There's no highlights reel this Christmas and New Year as we are busy helping launch BikeOut Festival, the world's first LGBTQ+ cycling festival, with . It's already on our Spond, public launch is coming soon 🚴🚴🚴🚴

And, a healthy crop of our usual weekend adventures for 2026 is launching in the next few days on Spond too 👍

In 2026, we'll be continuing our local rides for the LGBTQ+ community from Glasgow. Our next ride is on 28th December from the Social Hub, Candleriggs. All welcome (PM if not on our Spond) 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

We're determined to ensure there continues to be a dedicated space for LGBTQ+ riders in Glasgow, after the closure of a couple of inclusive clubs this year. We're working with CVV, ODL and LEAP sports to make this happen 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️

But we need YOUR help. We need more ride leaders - if you're interested, DM us or come have coffee with us on the 28th after the ride. All welcome 👍
