Another diver, another milestone achieved!

Huge congratulations to Murray on successfully completing his TDI Advanced Nitrox & Decompression Procedures course!

Over the course, Murray didn't just learn new skills he refined every aspect of his diving. From streamlining his equipment configuration and understanding exactly how every piece of gear works, to meticulous dive planning and executing decompression dives with confidence, he embraced every challenge.

Technical diving is about preparation, precision, and pushing your limits safely. Murray put in the work, and he's come out the other side a more capable, confident, and disciplined diver.

The journey into CCR diving isn't always easy.

For many divers, stepping back to the beginning after years of open-circuit experience can be one of the hardest parts of the transition. Slowing down, relearning skills, and embracing a completely different mindset takes patience and commitment.

But ask almost anyone who's stuck with it, and they'll tell you the same thing it was one of the best decisions they ever made. The silence, the efficiency, and the opportunities CCR diving opens up make the journey worthwhile.

At ODS, we take the time to get you where you want to be on a CCR. We don't rush the process; we build confident, capable divers with the skills and mindset to truly enjoy everything closed-circuit diving has to offer.

5. Remember to have fun.

These rules keep dives safer, smoother, and far more enjoyable whether you’re just starting out or have hundreds of dives logged.

This week we tried something a little different, exploring the idea of a family-friendly resort-based dive week, and it couldn’t have gone better!

We dived with Mustafa from Scuba-Lovers , and from the very beginning he really listened to exactly what we wanted and tailored everything around our needs. Every part of the experience was professional, safe, and incredibly well organised.

What really stood out was the time and care he gave to helping the kids with both snorkeling and diving. His patience, encouragement, and experience made such a huge difference and helped create an unforgettable experience for the whole family.

Mustafa is extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and knows the dive sites like the back of his hand. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and his passion for what he does really shines through.

This is definitely something we’ll be looking to offer next year, and after this experience we’re even more excited about the idea!
