– Only Lil’ Cadets who have been invited to grade should attend.
– If your child usually trains on a Thursday but isn’t grading, feel free to make up the session next week.
- All TKD Juniors, TKD Inters and TKD Seniors classes will run as normal after the Cadets Grading

Most adults don’t need motivation. They need a better environment.

🚧 ROAD CLOSURE NOTICE 🚧

Please allow extra time when travelling to classes this week.

Unfortunately, without any prior notice from the council, the road directly outside our training hall has been closed. Please see the attached photo for details.

⚠️ Please note:
• There is NO parking available on the closed road.
• Parking is available on nearby streets.
• Access to the training hall remains available, but you may need to adjust your usual route.

We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause. Unfortunately, this situation is completely beyond our control.

🥋 Central Belt TKD Black Belt Pre-Grading 🥋

On Saturday, Central Belt Taekwon-Do held its Black Belt Pre-Grading, with six candidates taking part in a challenging and demanding day of assessment.

The candidates included:
• 4 students pre-testing for 1st Degree Black Belt
• 1 student pre-testing for 2nd Degree Black Belt
• 1 student pre-testing for 3rd Degree Black Belt

Throughout the day, each candidate was put through their paces, completing all required patterns, individual pattern performances, technical kicking assessments, and fitness testing.

The pre-grading was conducted by the Central Belt Taekwon-Do Examination Panel:
• Mrs Jackie Goodwin (VI Degree)
• Mr Ethan Donnelly (IV Degree)
• Mr Aidan Timoney (IV Degree)

It was also fantastic to see Black Belts from across our member clubs — FORCE Taekwon-Do, Glasgow East Taekwon-Do, and Coatbridge Taekwon-Do — come along to support the candidates. This is what makes our group so special: everyone backing and encouraging one another every step of the way.

We are delighted to announce that all candidates successfully passed their pre-grading. Each student has received individual feedback and guidance to work on as they continue their preparation for the Black Belt Grading in October.

Congratulations to all candidates on their hard work, dedication, and achievement. Keep training hard and we look forward to seeing you all take the next step on your Taekwon-Do journey later this year!

They avoid them because they don’t yet trust themselves to handle difficulty.

🥋 WHAT A DAY! 🥋

Our Central Belt Taekwon-do Patterns Workshop was a huge success, bringing together students from FORCE Taekwon-Do, Glasgow East Taekwon-Do and Coatbridge Taekwon-Do for a fantastic day of learning, development and collaboration.

The workshop was split into two sessions, allowing both lower grades and higher grades to receive focused instruction tailored to their level. Throughout the day, students worked hard to refine their patterns, improve their understanding and raise the overall standard of performance across our group.

It was fantastic to see so many students training together, sharing experiences and supporting one another in their Taekwon-Do journey.

A huge thank you goes to our instructors who led the sessions and generously shared their knowledge, insight and experience:
