This is definitely NOT me today! But last year at Wimbledon! This year I am watching horizontally and from either the sofa or bed 😉
Recovering slowly (and I am soooo good at slow 😉), Sleep is definitely my friend. Oh and biscuits. Lots of biscuits.

When faced with a tyrant or a bully I used to ask the question - why? Why would they do that? Why me?
Now, it is more wow than why.
Wow, what is going on in their life that they think its ok to act this way.
There is always hope.

I did my yoga teacher training in 2016. CANNOT BELIEVE it was that long ago. I did it because I loved yoga - the incredible Angela created a deep joy for me in the Ariel yoga classes I went to.
So, I decided to do the training. I hated it. It became something I had to do rather than something I loved to do.
Then I accepted that this was all a learning and actually all the moves - the asanas - were only a little part of yoga.
The way of life and the breathing became something that I learned to love too.

I caused myself some big problems when I was younger allowing myself to be run by my diary- or others diaries. Health wise it took its toll. In a big way.
I found myself slipping again.
I watched the Glennon Doyle podcast with Brene Brown and her sister and screamed - YES YES YES!
When we dig deep we have to excavate from somewhere else.. WE take soil .. from our health, relationships, joy...
Right?
We don't just go deeper in the career space, we take soil from other areas of our lives.
My boundaries are back and I am topping up the soil.

I watch minimum 10 minutes of comedy a day. It helps me design my day and plan my energy, sometimes I have to watch more...
A good dose of Billy Connolly helps me get through most days!
A day without laughter is a day wasted.
