We would like to invite the family and friends of our Dad, brother, Partner and Granda, John Anderson Smith JAS to join us in celebrating his life on Tuesday 21st October 2025, 14.30 at Clydebank Crematorium then back to Victoria Park Bowling Club to share memories of all the fun Adventures we all had with Oor JAS. It is with deep regret that we inform of the passing of our Past President, Dad, Brother, Partner and Grandad, John Anderson Smith (JAS). He was very much loved by all his family and friends and will be greatly missed from all our life's forever. We are absolutely heart broken and devasted. Sleep tight pops, love you forever, ❤️🫶🏻💙💔😪XxX.

We’re excited to share news of a very special event as part of the lead up to the Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games. 🦄🥳

📆On Wednesday 15 October (10:00 – 11:30), we will attempt to host the world’s largest indoor bowls lesson at the West of Scotland Indoor Bowling Club. With a welcome from special hosts and Try Bowls session led by some of Scotland’s legendary bowlers and rising talent, the event plans to bring together community groups and local clubs for an unforgettable morning of bowls.

⚠️If you’d like to be part of this world record attempt, to attend 𝐩𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐞 𝐑𝐒𝐕𝐏 𝐯𝐢𝐚 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐨𝐧𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦 𝐛𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐰 to avoid completing registration forms on the day.
