I just realised it’s been 4 years of sharing Yoga practice in May there (was a bit distracted recently 🥾)

I just want to say a sincere thank you to everyone that has come to a class at St.Oswalds, JD South or at any of the other classes I’ve taught over the years 🙏🏻

It is such a huge privilege for me to share Yoga and learn from each of you.

What I love the most is seeing the smiles, the friendships, the community that has developed and witnessing the often tangible changes in people - the dropping of shoulders, the release of tension in their face, the sense of ease in their body and voice even after a 1 hour class together. For me that’s what makes it special 💚

Class together is just one wee part of a wider practice, but for that 1 hour together it’s definitely something magic ✨

Yoga isn’t easy, nor is it easy leading practice sometimes, but every single time, no matter how I feel I get such strength from those who have shown up for themselves and that is exactly what encourages me to continue and appreciate this beautiful thing called Yoga together.

I ALWAYS come out of practice feeling calmer, lighter and more in touch with myself and those around me and this is what I hope for all of you to experience too.

I don’t often share my practice over social media now - I try to be me more present and keep the space sacred for myself and for those who come along to class. But if you are reading this and are curious about how Yoga could benefit you then please reach out, you’d be most welcome to join me 🥰

Tomorrow I’ll be swapping the trainers for hiking shoes as I set off on my Pilgrim walk on the Camino to Santiago De Compostela, stopping along the way over the next 5 days in beautiful Galicia, Spain 🇪🇸

I’m absolutely buzzing for this part of my trip and have been dreaming about doing it for so long 🥰

Nature, connection and movement - in particular walking in the great outdoors really makes my soul happy so I can’t wait to get going ✨

Praying for nae blisters and a Buen Camino 🙏🏻💚🥾

Do we really need to add another task to the to-do list or jump to that next thing?

Growth is great, but sometimes the most powerful thing we can do is slow down, soften, and meet ourselves exactly where we are.

Yin Yoga allows us to step out of the busy mind, tune in, and give your body what it truly needs.

I hope you can take time for yourself and join me for a beautiful Yin practice by Candlelight, full details below:

We will settle into stillness with breath-led yin poses.

Releasing tension, nourishing and hydrating our connective tissue (fascia) through gentle, supported holds using props and blankets.

To finish, you’ll be guided into a deeply restful Yoga Nidra (Yogic sleep) and an extended Savasana - so you leave feeling grounded, restored, and reset.
