Congratulations to our Men’s 2nd Team who won both of their matches in their Summer Doubles play-offs to secure promotion to Division 1/2. This is a huge achievement and the first time our Men’s 2nd Team has reached this level.

Langside Bowling Club’s Triples team and a group of supporters headed to Northfield, Ayr for the Scottish National Championship Finals. Our triples team proudly showed off their special bowling tops designed and kindly donated by our shirt suppliers VSN. Six weeks of our summer holiday camps are coming to an end today and we wanted to say a big thank you to everyone who has attended! Whether it was your first time trying tennis or you are a regular member we hope you had lots of fun with us.

🎾 New Adult and Junior Tennis Coaching Block Available to Book 🎾

We are so excited to launch our next coaching block at Langside Tennis Club. We have a range of adult and junior lessons available to book, from beginner adult lessons to fun kids lessons - we can’t wait to welcome you on the court.

Adult lessons begin from Monday 10th August and the kids sessions begin Saturday 15th August.

On Sunday Langside Cricket Club welcomed the XL cricket team who played against the Football Square Mile team. Some excellent cricket from everyone and it was especially great watching the Scotland President and cricket legend Omar Henry in action. Omar played his cricket in Scotland during apartheid and then became the first player of colour to play sport for South Africa post apartheid 🏏

We had a busy weekend at Langside Bowling Club, luckily the sun was shining ☀️

On Saturday our men’s team hosted Cathcart in a friendly with Langside being victorious and on Sunday we hosted 14 teams for the annual women’s Hamilton Trophy.

Crookston were deserving winners beating Croftfoot in the final 🏆

Thanks to all clubs who took part and we look forward to welcoming you back on July 11th 2027.
