Girvan Bowling Club.
CHANGE TO GAME SUNDAY 21st JUNE.
We will be playing a Straight Balloted Pairs round robin.
Club members only. Be at club for 9-30am.
Draw will be done on the day. Entry £3 per player.

Due to unforeseen circumstances this weekend competition at Girvan Bowling Club has been cancelled. Things will be back to normal next week.

Good luck to everyone today in the J&A Fulton Memorial Cup. For anyone new or didn’t know John and Annie Fulton aka granny and grandpa they were long time members of the club and Annie even had a candid camera type feature in the “Carrick Gazzette” if I can find it I will post it soon. Here they are on their Golden Wedding

Glasgow/Ayrshire Draw for Girvan

In 1855 the first game was played between Glasgow Bowling Clubs and Ayrshire Bowling Clubs, now known as the Glasgow / Ayrshire. In 1857 the "Eglinton Jug" was presented for this match to the winning club by the Earl of Eglinton.
The draw has now been made for this years match which will take place on Friday the 3rd July, comprising of 31 ends, and has been sent to all Clubs taking part, via their Secretary. This is also available on the website www.ayrshirebowlingassociation.org .
