Got tubeless tyres?

Have they been serviced or topped up? No? Read on…

Sealant needs topping up, it’ll naturally find gaps between the tyre and the rim (nevermind any punctures!), solidifying…which can result in tyres not seating correctly (or at all) if deflated (as my recent customer found out)

Check your sealant every 3 months, top it up as needed.

Strip your tyre annually and if needed, replace tape…although that should need doing less often if applied correctly in the first place

☑️ Old dried sealant removed from rims
☑️ New tape applied with correct overlap
☑️ Old sealant removed from tyres
☑️ New sealant added based on riding style and tyres (LOVE the MTB sealant from Muc-Off
☑️ Tyres inflated, sealant distributed and given 12-24 hours to display any problems before heading back to customer

Bring your bike or wheels to me for an autumn tubeless refresh, I’m more than happy to get those rims cleaned up and tubeless ready for the autumn / winter season!

They aren’t current models but give an excellent representation of the longevity available in the bike, the quality and lightness that means kids can’t put them down and you’ll be having to keep up!

Still on the look out for good quality 14 and 16 Belter or Seeker to complete the demo fleet.

Quite unbelievable to be writing this but someone has attempted to rip off my little bike shop in the North of Dorset and hosted a website portraying a bike shop using all my company details but the domain is **not mine**, and I assume the webshop may end up with a transaction and no product shipped.

How to fix a puncture on a bicycle inner tube?

Spend a minute with me as I go through the steps in identifying where the puncture is, and correctly applying vulcanising fluid (or glue if you wish) and a patch to a butyl inner tube.

Tubeless sealant is great, TPU tubes are super light but there’s something reassuring about a butyl tube that can so easily be repaired.

It’s child’s play!

Go to your local bike shop - see if they have any old punctured tubes they’ll give you for free - and buy a puncture repair kit. Go practice at home before you need those skills when out on the bike.

This Kona Cinder Cone is in for a rebuild … starting with a clean

I only use in the workshop - and for a good reason - it works!

Simply spray on the Nano-tech Bike Cleaner, let it sit, agitate where needed and rinse. Job done.

MO-94 used on the delicate exposed metals just to avoid any corrosion or issues long term

And my absolute favourite, Bike Spray across the entire frame with a wipe down with a micro fibre cloth

Clean.Protect.Lube.

It’s simple - and you don’t need to strip down a bike to keep it in tip top condition.
