Lana Lambert School Of Dance Professional but fun run school established for over 40 years. Classes held at St Matthews Church next to Fairview Community Primary School. Street dance.

Classes held:
R.A.D Ballet. I.S.T.D Modern Theatre and Tap. Adult Classes in Tap, Ballet and Modern. Yearly examinations and shows held at the Brook Theatre. Fully qualified, first aid and DBS checked staff and chaperones.

So that’s us finished for another year!

It’s been lovely to see the girls enjoying the last week of term in their Christmas sparkles, jumpers and pjs. Thank you all for your lovely cards and gifts and for supporting the school for another year.

I’d like to wish you all a wonderful Christmas and a happy and healthy new year! 🎄☃️

🩰Adult Ballet Classes🩰

We are looking to recruit new members to our adult ballet classes! This is a great way to keep fit, improve posture and stretch and tone those muscles!

Our 7pm Wednesday class is open to beginners or those with a little dancing experience.

Our 6.30pm Tuesday session works at a more advanced level for those more experienced dancers.

All classes are held at St Matthews Community Hall in Wigmore. Please message for more details.

As the new dancing year begins I’d like to introduce Miss Becca Mulvihill to you all. Becca will be teaching along side myself on a Wednesday afternoon and although she has danced with me for a number of years in the Advanced adult ballet class I am pjeased to welcome her as a teacher here at the school! Xx

Becca started dancing at the age of two, and took her Advanced II RAD ballet exam before going to university to study dance education, gaining a 1st degree honours.

Becca runs a successful dance department at a local grammar school, with exceptional results at both GCSE and A Level year on year. Becca’s students have a high success rate at both regional and national competitions, and has sent students to dance schools including The Place, LSC and the Brighton Academy.

Alongside her professional achievements, Becca was part of the 2020/21 cohort of practitioners on the New Adventures Overture scheme, and has most recently been selected as a partnership school to work alongside the Jasmin Vardimon Company.

Becca is excited to start teaching alongside Lana, having danced in her advanced ballet class for a number of years!

Thankyou all for another fantastic year of classes! I really appreciate your support as always. It’s been a wonderful year with some amazing exam and festival results, you’ve all worked so hard and I am so lucky to have such amazing,talented students. I know Miss Lisa has had a great last week with us and although she will be missed, I wish her all the very best as she steps back to spend more time with her family! ❤️
We will be returning to classes on the week of the 2nd of September! I hope you all have a fabulous summer break and I will look forward to seeing you then! ☀️👙⛱️💗
