One last thank you...

Our Coaches give up their time freely to help train, support and guide these girls. We couldn't exist without them.
A huge thank you Catherine, Lee, Geoff, Tom, Gru, Barney and Nick πŸ’œπŸ’œπŸ’œπŸ’œ

And Finally to Emma. Our leader.
Emma took up the reigns last year after joining Ravens initially as a coach. She dedicates HUGE amounts of time and energy to Ravens despite not having a playing daughter (for those that don't know Emma's son plays at Castle Cary). She is the queen of spreadsheets and is a seasoned expert at spinning multiple plates. She organises training, pitches, fixtures, kit, events, coaches, is active on 2 committee's and still supports her own family and their needs. She is the mother of all Ravens!

Thank You Emma

There is one final award to announce.

The Raven of the Year

This is resented to one player who embodies all the elements of TREDS, both on and off the pitch.

This years winner has led by example, is a force on the pitch, never giving in - often putting her body on the line and is a great person all round.

We are delighted to share that The Raven of the Year award goes to....

Briony Medwell πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘

Last night we celebrated the 2025/26 Season - and what a season it has been.

The number of Girls playing for Ravens has increased, our coaching team has increased and we have a fabulous network of parent volunteers who all support our Girls.

We have competed at waterfall tournaments, 7's tournaments and even had players represent Dorset & Wilts County. We have even earned some Silverware!

It's been a tough year at times. Weather has meant MANY fixtures being cancelled. We have ventured to the edge of our borders and beyond to play. We have lost players due to family moves.

We experienced our first ever TOUR - a weekend of fun and excitement, experiencing Premiership Women's Rugby at Exeter Chiefs, team building and then playing fierce opponents at Teignmouth RFC -who were amazing hosts.

But through thick and thin our Ravens Girls have always faced these challenges with humour, kindness, maturity and a willingness to learn and improve.

Thank you Girls for taking up the baton and passing it on to the younger, future Ravens. You are ALL exemplary role models and ambassadors of TREDS.
