Last weekend, Medway Archers took on Bowmen of Darenteford Archery Club in a great afternoon of shooting and friendly competition 🎯
The windy conditions — and the sheep watching from the sidelines 🐑 — kept things interesting as Medway took the win on pure score, while Darenteford claimed the handicap victory 👏

With 5 archers representing Medway, there was plenty of strong shooting, great sportsmanship, and an enjoyable day all round!

A big thank you to Darenteford for hosting and for a fantastic match — we look forward to the next one!

🏹 First League Match of the Season on the 11th April 🏹

The wait is over — we kicked off the season with our first league match, and what a start it was!

There’s always something special about that first step back onto the shooting line: a mix of focus, nerves, and excitement as everyone settles into their rhythm.

It was a day full of friendly competition, with a great atmosphere across the field and plenty of encouragement between clubs. A big well done to everyone who took part — and congratulations to Medway for coming out on top against Crown Archers in a closely fought match!

Thank you to all the archers from Crowns who attended — we hope you enjoyed the day.

We’re looking forward to the rest of the season and wish every archer the very best for the months ahead.
