After launching our OPEN AGE FEMALE training in February, we are now up to a committed 8-9 players and a few more interested / rotating when they can make it.

We have a brilliant, friendly and welcoming set of ladies all enjoying their Monday nights - now on Street Lane in Gildersome for the summer and planning for a first friendly game soon.

We have a real mix of ages and abilities , from complete new starters, those rekindling their youth sport after having their own family and also ladies from our former u18 set up - brilliant to see it grow and more importantly, individuals bonding as a team and have a laugh.

Fancy coming to give it a go? Head on down to Street Lane, Gildersome from 8-9, Mondays (Restarting 1st June after bank holiday break). All females 16+ welcome (we already have a few mum/daughter combinations)

Ps couple of pointers we’ve had feedback on.
- Don’t worry that the form looks like under women’s and girls section - that’s just a boring admin thing Leeds couldn’t change. The title says mixed / girls only on respective forms.
- Make sure you do the ‘I’m not a robot’ thing else the info won’t load.
- ⁠if you are struggling with the link to book please get in touch. There is a picture ch up and pay cash option available by exception.

Our u14s mix section are supporting this event in Gildersome Village this Sat 4th April to help them raise funds

So pop along grab some home make cakes & buns with a lovely cuppa

🐣 Gildersome Village Easter Event – Saturday 4th April 🌼

Come along to the Meeting Hall and Village Green between 10:30am and 2:30pm for a day of Easter fun for all the family.

There’ll be plenty going on during the day including an Easter Trail, Easter Bonnet Competition and Parade, Best Decorated Egg, and traditional games like the egg and spoon race. The Egg Roll will take place in the park and the Easter Bunny will also be making an appearance.

You can bring a decorated egg from home or decorate one with us on the day, and refreshments will be available.

There are other fun things happening during the day as well, so come along, get involved and enjoy a bit of Easter fun with the community.

⭐ All activities organised by the Parish Council are completely FREE.

Happy International Women’s Day from all at Gildy Spurs.

Don’t forget, it’s Bruntcliffe Academy 8-9pm on Mondays for the open age (16+) kick about. We are two weeks in and numbers are growing nicely. . All abilities welcome. 😎🙌🏼
