Whickham Fellside U16 Falcons are looking to welcome new players into the squad for the 2026/27 season.

This is a great opportunity for girls going into Year 11 who are looking for a new challenge, want to keep developing their game and would enjoy being part of a positive, hard-working team.

The Falcons play in Division 1 of the Russell Foster Youth League on Saturdays, so players will ideally have experience of playing competitive football.

⚽ Team: Whickham Fellside U16 Falcons
📍 Training: Wednesdays, 7–8pm at Watergate Park
🏆 League: Russell Foster Youth League Division 1

🌍 Help Emily Reach the World Stage! 🌍

We’re proud to share and support our Goalkeepr Emily MacDonald’s incredible journey as she aims to compete at the World High Jump Masters Championships Daegu, Korea, in August 2026.

Emily’s story is nothing short of inspiring. After returning to high jump following a 25-year break, she went on to win the V40 UK High Jump Championships in 2021 and was ranked 7th in the world. Now, after jumping a new personal best of 1.49m in May 2026, Emily is currently ranked No.1 in the world in her V45 age group. 👏

Alongside being a dedicated mum, working full time, coaching young athletes at Gateshead Harriers and becoming the Ladies No.1, Emily is now hoping to take her high jump journey international once again.

To make this dream a reality, Emily is fundraising to help cover the costs of travelling to Korea and competing on the world stage. Any donation, big or small, would make a huge difference and help Emily keep raising the bar. 💛
