Start your day earlier at Birtley Leisure Centre!

From Monday 14th September, we're introducing new opening hours, including an earlier 6.15am opening on weekdays.

🕕 Monday to Thursday: 6.15am-9pm
🕕 Friday: 6.15am-7pm
🕣 Saturday and Sunday: 8.30am-2.45pm

Whether you're looking to get a workout in before work, attend a fitness class, or fit exercise around a busy schedule, our extended hours give you even more flexibility to stay active.

We're making it easier than ever to fit exercise around work and family life, with earlier opening hours and an expanded fitness class programme.

Alongside our new 6:15am weekday opening time, we're also introducing three new instructor-led classes:

✅ Gym-Based Circuit Training

✅ Body Conditioning

✅ Circuit Training Basics

Our new Circuit Training Basics class is designed to help you build confidence, learn the fundamentals and exercise in a supportive environment. It's perfect for beginners, those returning to fitness, or anyone looking to develop a solid foundation.

We're also introducing:
