The players took advantage of lighter evenings for a twilight round at the spiritual home of PDT Golf. The course was in great condition and the weather was pretty much perfect. Team Turner/Wilson surged to a healthy lead on the front nine with solid play and their renowned short game coming in useful and giving them a healthy 5up lead going into the turn. then a couple of holes halved and 1 won meant was there a comeback for Team Whittle/Stevens?! Alas... no...it wasn't to be and Team Wilson/Turner enjoyed a resounding 6&5 victory. 5-1 for the season so far. Long Drive awards to James and Wilson. Nearest Pins to James and Gaz. Longest putt to Andy. Whatever the result.. It was a great evening of golf. And at the end of the day... that's why we play. See you on the tee soon gents 🏌️‍♂️

Making the most of early finish Fridays the PDT teams enjoyed a beautifully sunny evening at Hart Common Golf Club for the 2nd round of the 2026 The Pants Down Trophy. As is custom Team Whittle / Stevens took control on the front 9 with James sinking a monster putt to take them 3 up, but patience from the Trophy holders meant that the back 9 seemed to be all Team Wilson / Turner... but this was no walk in the park with victory only assured on the 17th for Team Wilson / Turner. Great weather... Great company and on the whole Great golf. Next time on the tee will see the teams vying for the Spring PDT Golf weekend. See you in a few weeks gentlemen. Play well.

The 2026 Pants Down Trophy kicked off at it's spiritual home of Duxbury Park GC. Despite it being a tad muddy in places, the golf was played to it's usual high standards 😉. Very tight on the front 9 with neither team getting more than 1 up but as is usual at Dux, the round was decided at Amen Corner. Team Wilson/Turner hitting form when it mattered most and taking 4 holes on the bounce to take the round 5&3. Regardless of who won... it was great to be on the tee with these fine gentlemen. Andy Turner Gareth Whittle James Stevens Look forward to round 2...sooner rather than later! ⛳
