Sponsorship Opportunity – Village Clubhouse & Open Pairs Event

We are currently seeking local businesses and organisations who may be interested in sponsoring our village clubhouse and supporting the ongoing maintenance and upkeep of our green.

We also have an exciting opportunity to sponsor our Open Pairs competition taking place in June, which attracts players and visitors from the wider area.

In return for sponsorship, we can offer a range of marketing opportunities, including:

Week 2 of our sessions with Garelochhead Primary School brought a slight change in weather, but the cloud cover certainly didn’t faze our enthusiastic youngsters!

It was fantastic to have our voluntary team along once again, including former Garelochhead Primary pupil Zak Tait, who was delighted to come along and support the session.

It was especially pleasing to see the coaches beginning to put into practice some of the new skills and ideas they’ve picked up during their own recent sessions with Bowls Scotland.

We’re now really looking forward to next week’s Health Week, where we’ll have the opportunity to welcome every class along to come and give the sport a try!

What a fantastic night we had at our Introduction to Bowls Coaching, led by Iain from Bowls Scotland. It was brilliant to see – and hear – the enthusiasm from our new coaching team at Garelochhead.

A huge thank you to everyone who took part, and an even bigger thank you on behalf of our aspiring new members, young and not-so-young alike.

Volunteers for anything extra can often be hard to find, but we’re incredibly fortunate to have a fantastic group of members who continually give their time and energy to benefit others within our community.

An exciting partnership began today with our local primary school, Garelochhead Primary School.

We were delighted to welcome the P7/6 class to the clubhouse to begin their introduction to our much‑loved sport.

A huge thank you to our committed team of helpers who made this possible for the children and young people in our community.

There were certainly some budding bowlers among them — fantastic to see!

Lots of smiles, friendly competitiveness and, most importantly, plenty of enjoyment on the green this morning.

We’re looking forward to seeing everyone again next week for some more fun.

What an opening day we had yesterday. Huge thank you to all those who made it the success that it was.
