Carpenters Lake Fishery

Carpenters Lake Fishery Carpenters lake fishery is a quiet secluded fishery just outside the village of Gamlingay on the Beds / Cambs border.

The lake is a 3/4 acre mixed fishery with gentle sloping margins. Average depth is 2.5-3ft (deeper pegs can be found nearer the car park. The fishery is currently run as a season ticket lake with an annual membership of 20-30 members. The lake holds Open matches every other weekend open to non members (match record: 115lbs). The fishery can also be booked for private matches by small match groups

or angling clubs, we currently have 12 well spaced comfortable swims. The fishery is stocked with carp (15lb+), Ornamentals (5lb+), Perch (3lb), roach, rudd, goldfish, crucian carp, silver bream and tench.
