We had a fantastic, sunny weekend here at Dart Polo Club, especially on Sundays finals day! ☀️

We had 6 teams competing across two levels in our Hutton Cup tournament 🏆

In the 1767 plate -2 to -4 level, Johpurs of Yorkshire came out on top of what was a very competitive round robin.

🏅MVP: John Bagley
🐎 BPP: ‘Tunky’ owned by and played by Cliff Lumsden and Zoey Meikle

In the Hutton Cup, 2g, VetMedi stormed to victory beating Bagley Property in the final chukka of their round robin.

Next up on the DPC calender is the Annaul Invitational Tournament at the end of May, the largest University ran polo tournament in the country.

We have an action packed weekend ahead for our first tournament of the Summer Season - the Hutton Cup! 🏆☀️

This weekend we will be hosting 6 teams across two different levels. With both the Hutton Cup and the 1767 Plate being played for in a round robin format.

📆 Saturday 16th & Sunday 17th May
⏰ 11.30-2.30pm Saturday, 11-3pm Sunday
📍 Dart Polo Club, Gate Burton

As always, spectators are encouraged and entry is free! Come and enjoy a weekend of fast and furious polo!

On Saturday evening, we will be firing up our pizza oven for food and drinks at the clubhouses, all welcome!

On the 16th & 17th May we will be holding our first tournament of the 2026 Summer Season - The Hutton Cup!

Named after Sir Thomas Hutton, who built Gate Burton Hall in 1767 and whose family presided over for nearly 200 years thereafter.

We are expecting some exhilarating, action packed polo so please do come along to watch over the course of the weekend. Game times will be released closer to the weekend.

On Saturday our club pizza oven will be fired up making freshly made pizzas, join us for some drinks to celebrate the start of the season.

☀️ 2026 Summer Season Fixture List ☀️

After what has been an awesome winter season on our new arena, we are looking forward to our 4th grass season here at Dart Polo Club! 🔥

This season we have 4 fantastic tournament weekends, kicking off with the Hutton Cup in mid-May. Along with regular chukkas on Thursday nights and weekends.

Expect to see our 2026 membership info coming out soon, including our brand new chukka shirts and membership packs 👀

And that’s a wrap on the Dart Polo Club 2025-26 Arena Series! Last weekend we hosted our final tournament of the season - The Carter Cup for its inaugural year ❄️

We have 4 competitive teams in an open entry 4g battling it out over the course of the weekend to secure the new cup 🏆

On Sundays final we had Munster & Morston V Manor Farm Bloodstock ending in a dominant 19-8 victory for Manor Farm

🐎 BPP: Foi de Toi owned and played by

In the sub-final, Dart Polo took on Thoresby Park Polo Club. After starting off with a significant lead, Thoresby took the win 12-4.

And that’s a wrap on the Dart Polo Club 2025-26 Arena Series! Last weekend we hosted our final tournament of the season - The Carter Cup for its inaugural year 🏆❄️

We’re got 4 exciting teams that will battle it out over the weekend in an open 4g format.

Spectators are of course always welcome, there will be tea and coffee! Please ensure dogs are on leads.
