And that’s a wrap… 💥

Last weekend we hosted our annual Women in Polo UK tournament - The Dambusters Cup! 🏆

Named after the infamous 617 Bomber Squadron Dambusters raid of 1943.

In the WIP 4g level, Stockton Sports stormed to victory on Sunday with a 15-9 win over 617 Bombers.

In our 0g mixed level, Toulston Polo Academy ended the weekend victorious over Jodpurs of Yorkshire 9-5.

On Sunday morning we held our Best Turned out pony competition, judged by Tony Morris and John Nash and kindly sponsored by Sandra Lyle. Julie Fieldsend came 1st with ‘Chico’ and Rob Foster 2nd with ‘Jungle’ 🐴

This weekend for the second year we were raising money for the fantastic Lincs & Notts Air Ambulance. Thanks to everyone’s generosity, we raised £596 for such a great cause! 🚁

A special thank you to Rachels Interiors and Lincs & County Family Funeral Directors for their kindly sponsoring the weekend and providing brilliant prizes!

It’s time for our annual Women in Polo UK tournament - the Dambusters cup!

This weekend we will be raising money for the Lincs & Notts Air Ambulance service with a charity raffle 🚁

We have 4 teams playing, with Toulston Polo Academy and Jodpurs of Yorkshire going head to head on Saturday morning for the 0g mixed . Followed by Stockton Sports and Dart Polo in the 4g WIP in the afternoon 🏆

Don’t miss our Best Turned out Pony class on Sunday! 🐎

Spectators are invited and welcome as always, please keep dogs on leads and park in the designated areas.

Last weekend we held the Chandigarh Cup alongside the Trehampton Cup, two competitive tournaments played over the weekend 🐎🏆

In the 0 to 2g Chandigarh Cup, we had a round robin format with Sunbrave Polo Team (2g) looking to retain the cup for the 3rd year running, Bagley Property (1g) and FuelSave (1g).

With the result coming down to the final seconds of Sundays final, the final scoreline had only half a goal separating 1st and 3rd. But, after fighting hard, Bagley Property came out on top with Sunbrave as runners up and FuelSave coming third.

In the -4 to -2 Trehampton Cup we had VetMedi UK and Jodpurs of Yorkshire in Sunday’s final. The Jodphurs fought valiantly against a strong VetMedi team, but ultimately VetMedi came out on top 10-7.

This weekend we have our second big tournament of the season - The Chandigarh Cup! 🍾

We have 7 teams from up and down the country competing across two levels, the Chandigarh Cup 0-2g, and the Trehampton Cup -4 to -2. The reigning champions, Sunbrave, will be looking to retain the cup for another year!

Over the course of the weekend we have (Un) Covered Events putting on a great menu of food. We will also be hosting a Saturday night party, where everyone is welcome to join! 🪩

Spectators are invited and welcome as always, please keep dogs on leads and park in the designated areas.

Summer is going quickly! We are onto our second big tournament of the 2026 Season, the Chandigarh Cup! 🏆☀️

Taking place on the 25th & 26th July weekend, this will feature the Chandigarh Cup, named after the famous City in Gujurat, India. And the Trehampton Cup, named after the Trehampton Family who first built the Manor at Gate Burton.

We had a fantastic, sunny weekend here at Dart Polo Club, especially on Sundays finals day! ☀️

We had 6 teams competing across two levels in our Hutton Cup tournament 🏆

In the 1767 plate -2 to -4 level, Johpurs of Yorkshire came out on top of what was a very competitive round robin.

🐎 BPP: ‘Tunky’ owned by and played by Cliff Lumsden and Zoey Meikle

In the Hutton Cup, 2g, VetMedi stormed to victory beating Bagley Property in the final chukka of their round robin.

We have an action packed weekend ahead for our first tournament of the Summer Season - the Hutton Cup! 🏆☀️

This weekend we will be hosting 6 teams across two different levels. With both the Hutton Cup and the 1767 Plate being played for in a round robin format.

On the 16th & 17th May we will be holding our first tournament of the 2026 Summer Season - The Hutton Cup!

Named after Sir Thomas Hutton, who built Gate Burton Hall in 1767 and whose family presided over for nearly 200 years thereafter.

We are expecting some exhilarating, action packed polo so please do come along to watch over the course of the weekend. Game times will be released closer to the weekend.

On Saturday our club pizza oven will be fired up making freshly made pizzas, join us for some drinks to celebrate the start of the season.

☀️ 2026 Summer Season Fixture List ☀️

After what has been an awesome winter season on our new arena, we are looking forward to our 4th grass season here at Dart Polo Club! 🔥

This season we have 4 fantastic tournament weekends, kicking off with the Hutton Cup in mid-May. Along with regular chukkas on Thursday nights and weekends.
