Away from match days, Hailey gives her time to help coach our Minis, and she’s always one of the first to step up when it comes to organising team socials and keeping the club connected.

Have you ever watched rugby and thought, “I’d love to give that a go, but I wouldn’t know where to start?” Well, this is your sign! 🙌

You don’t need any experience, you don’t need to know the rules, and you definitely don’t need to be super fit to start! 😊

Our ladies’ team is friendly, supportive and welcoming, with players of all abilities — including ladies who had never even picked up a rugby ball before joining! 🏉

TRAINER OF THE MONTH: BILLY NICHOLSON

And now the men’s turn — July’s standout trainer goes to Billy.

Everyone who’s been down has been excellent, but Billy has been on another level. He’s made every session, flipped a switch this season, and shown real intent in how he’s approaching his rugby.

We all know he’s got great hands, a solid set piece and carries well, but the biggest change has been his fitness work. His commitment has been outstanding, his energy has been class, and he’s even been putting in extra sessions with the lads.

We’re excited to see what Billy can do as he adds another level of fitness to everything he already brings. There’s a lot more to come from him.

Pre-season is never easy, but Emi has embraced every challenge with a smile and a fantastic attitude. She turns up on time, gives 100% in every session, and is always eager to learn and improve.

A real highlight came during her very first scrum session, where she showed natural ability, confidence, and a willingness to get stuck in—something that really impressed the coaches.
