Our bank holiday was spent at the home of Louth Town Juniors FC for their summer tournament. With temperatures soaring above 30°C throughout the day 🥵 it proved to be one of the toughest tests to date.

The sun beat relentlessly down on the pitches, but the juniors showed fantastic determination and character from start to finish. Facing some strong opposition throughout the tournament, they competed admirably, dug deep when it mattered most, and gave everything for the badge despite the exhausting temperatures.

While results didn’t always go our way, the effort, attitude and resilience shown by every player were something to be proud of. They never stopped working for each other and continued to battle until the final whistle of every game.

The tournament was extremely well organised, and huge credit must go to the army of volunteers at Louth Town Juniors FC who worked tirelessly throughout the day to ensure everything ran smoothly….even turning on the sprinklers during a well needed break for everyone to get under and cool down 💦

A tough but enjoyable day of football, valuable experience gained, and plenty of reasons to be proud of the performances on show. Well done gang 🙌

⚽️ Wow, what an experience the Juniors had at the Score at the Stadium tournament hosted by Pitchside Football - Tournaments & Events. The opponents were tough, the weather was pants but boy did we have a blast on the Blundell turf 🏟️ Captain Harry lead the gang out on to the pitch for a photo with Mighty Mariner before we kicked off for what would be 6 intense games with the final clash coming down to penalties. We dug in, we laughed and we soaked up the incredible atmosphere - safe to say we enjoyed every minute 😎

🏟️ Tonight the Fulstow Juniors are taking the short journey to Cleethorpes to play at the home of Grimsby Town FC for Score at the Stadium GTFC tournament - hosted by Pitchside Football - Tournaments & Events
What an amazing opportunity for the gang to step out on to the turf at Blundell Park and play football under the stadium lights - we are super excited 🏟️

⚽️ Sunday Match Report ⚽️

This weekend we welcomed our good friends the Barton United Eagles 🦅 back to Fulstow for what promised to be another closely contested and entertaining friendly — it certainly lived up to expectations.

Both sides showed great quality throughout, but the Juniors intensity and determination in attack made the difference come the final whistle. They created chances through hard work and teamwork, playing some excellent football across the pitch with some superb individual performances.

A fantastic game between two well-matched sides and great spirit shown throughout from both teams.

🏆 Parents Player of the Match award went home with Samal for his fantastic debut performance and his fantastic goal. Well done Mal 🙌

🏆 Coaches Player of the Match was awarded to Riley for his super high energy and gritty determination displayed. He was knocking on the door to secure a goal of his own until he had to sit out thanks to a bash in the face with a ball 🙈 well done Ry 👏

Special mention and thanks to Joss who we borrowed from Louth Town Wolves U10’s for the match today, a great performance from him in defence, well done buddy ✋
