We are pleased to confirm that Heads of Terms have now been agreed between the parties regarding the future operation and improvement of Badgers Hill.

Formal legal documentation is now being progressed, with all parties continuing to work toward completion. A further formal joint announcement is expected on or about 12 June. We also respect FTC’s wishes for internal privacy while the remaining legal process is completed.

The Southern League is fully informed regarding the progress made to date and remains supportive of the current completion timetable. There is no risk to the club’s league status or the continued operation of the clubhouse and wider activities at Badgers Hill during this process.

We recognise that the uncertainty created following FTC’s earlier public statement regarding bids for operation of the ground raised genuine concern around future bookings, events, and community confidence. We are hopeful that reaching this stage will help restore that momentum and provide reassurance to supporters, volunteers, sponsors, event organisers, and the community moving forward.

Over the past year, Badgers Hill has seen a huge increase in football activity, volunteers, community events, sponsors, and wider community use. Even during the offseason, the ground has continued to be full of life and energy, and we remain excited about the momentum continuing into next season.

Thank you again to everyone who has continued to support the club throughout this process. Your positivity, patience, and backing have genuinely mattered.

Season ticket sales remain open, with the Early Bird window currently closing on 31 May. We would encourage supporters to continue getting behind the club as preparations continue for another important season at Badgers Hill.

Constructive discussions regarding the future of Badgers Hill have continued over recent weeks, and we are pleased to confirm that formal draft documentation has now been exchanged between the parties for review.

Good progress continues to be made, and reaching this stage represents another important step forward in the process and reflects the momentum built through ongoing discussions. Thank you to Frome Town Council for being an excellent partner in this.

Our focus remains the same:

* protecting football at Badgers Hill;
* continuing to improve the ground;
* supporting wider community use;
* and building a sustainable future for the club.

We also want to thank supporters, volunteers, sponsors, players, staff, and the wider community for the incredible support shown throughout this process. The atmosphere around the club and at Badgers Hill over the last few weeks has been fantastic, with community events, volunteers, bingo nights, and supporters continuing to bring real life and energy to the ground even during the offseason.

Season ticket sales remain open, with the early bird window closing on 31 May. We would encourage supporters to continue getting behind the club as preparations continue for another important season at Badgers Hill.

Constructive discussions have continued over the past several days regarding the future operation and improvement of Badgers Hill.

Significant progress has now been made, and discussions are now centered on resolving what is believed to be one final operational and structural point within the proposed arrangement. There remains a strong commitment from all parties to reach a practical agreement that supports both the football club and the long-term future of Badgers Hill, with discussions expected to continue next week toward concluding terms.

As part of those discussions:

* further information regarding investment into the ground has been provided to FTC;
* outstanding VAT obligations have now been settled;
* and practical mechanisms for future investment and long-term sustainability at Badgers Hill continue to be worked through.

Over the past year, the ground has seen a significant increase in football activity, volunteer involvement, community events, and wider public use. There remains a strong shared desire to continue building on that momentum and improving the facility for supporters and the wider Frome community.

Preparations for next season continue at pace both on and off the pitch, and we remain encouraged by the incredible support shown by volunteers, supporters, sponsors, and the wider community throughout this process.

Season ticket sales for the new season are already underway, and with the early sales window closing soon, we would strongly encourage supporters to continue getting behind the club as preparations continue for another important year at Badgers Hill.

Badgers Hill Ltd met with Frome Town Council yesterday for further discussions regarding the future of Badgers Hill and its ongoing use by Frome Town FC and other community stakeholders.

The meeting was constructive, and we appreciate the willingness of all parties to continue discussions toward a sustainable long-term arrangement for the ground.

A number of proposals and counter-proposals were discussed, including lease arrangements, investment into the facility, outstanding works, and future improvements to the stadium. Discussions remain ongoing as the parties continue working through the details of a potential agreement.

What remains clear is the importance of Badgers Hill as a community asset and the significant progress that has been made over the past year in restoring activity, football operations, and wider community use at the ground.

Badgers Hill Ltd also confirms that provisional arrangements are being put in place to ensure there is no jeopardy to Frome Town FC’s Southern League position while discussions continue. The Southern League has indicated that such arrangements are appropriate during ongoing negotiations.

Badgers Hill Ltd remains committed to:
- supporting the long-term future of football at Badgers Hill,
- continuing essential repairs and improvements to the facility, and
- ensuring the ground continues to serve the wider community for years to come.

Next week’s season ticket launch will be an important moment for the football club and the wider community. Strong support from supporters and local businesses will send a clear message about the future of football at Badgers Hill and help fund immediate operational and infrastructure priorities at the stadium.

We encourage everyone connected with the club to support the launch by purchasing season tickets on the first day of release as we aim to make this the strongest season ticket launch in the club’s history.

We look forward to continuing discussions with FTC next week and remain hopeful that a positive and collaborative path forward can be achieved.

Badgers Hill Ltd can confirm that a final proposal has been received from Frome Town Council just this afternoon regarding the future use of Badgers Hill.

The proposal is currently under careful consideration.

Our focus remains on securing a fair, sustainable, and long-term future for the ground that reflects both the investment already made and the importance of Badgers Hill to the wider community.

Over the past year, more than £42,000 has been invested into the site, alongside thousands of hours contributed by volunteers and partners to restore and improve the ground.

We recognise that community benefit was raised as an important consideration by the Council last year. Over the past year, we feel there has been meaningful progress in how the site supports the community, and we would welcome any feedback or examples from those who have been part of that.

We remain committed to working positively with all parties and to ensuring Badgers Hill continues to be a place the whole community can be proud of.

Thank you, as always, for your continued support.

We were notified today—only after a public statement was released—that our initial bid to continue operating Badgers Hill has not been accepted.

This is deeply disappointing, particularly given the condition the ground was handed over in last summer and the tens of thousands of pounds already invested by Badgers Hill Ltd, alongside an incredible group of partners and volunteers, to repair and revitalise the stadium.

If our plan is not accepted, the football club will also be forced to move. But Badgers Hill is about far more than football.

Many will remember the council meeting last June, when it felt like everything was lost—not just the club, but a vital part of our community. And yet, since then, we’ve seen something powerful: the return of energy, togetherness, and belief. The smiles, the shared moments, the sense that Badgers Hill belongs to all of Frome.

That is what is at stake.

All the best of Frome shows up at Badgers Hill. And if it is to have a sustainable future, it must be shaped by the community itself.

As we re-engage with Frome Town Council following this decision, we ask for continued positivity and support.

If you’ve experienced Badgers Hill since August 2025, we’d love to hear from you—please share in the comments.

Let’s move forward together.
