Hi there, I’m Dan, a qualified and experienced personal trainer offering personal training in Bath and Frome.
Exercise has always been a key part of my life; I was part of the school rugby and athletics teams, which led into a bout of specialising in 5K runs and mud/obstacle runs (spartan races). Throughout all of this, weightlifting and functional training has been a key part of my training. I am a very strong advocate of health and well-being - your health is a lifestyle which consists of both physical and mental elements, so I'll advise you on eating nutritionally and getting your body to function the way it should, all while helping you feel good.
Having worked for Nuffield Health in a corporate environment in London, I have dealt with a wide spectrum of abilities and goals and I have learnt from some of the best personal trainers, physios and various specialists in the company. My personal training sessions are 100% tailored to YOU. Every client is different, therefore it is extremely important to create programmes and plan sessions to the individual. All abilities are welcomed and I take pride in being able to help my clients achieve their goals. No matter how big or small, every goal is equally important. CLASSES
My classes are suitable for all abilities, from someone who has never exercised, to someone who works out on an advanced level. Exercises can be adjusted to your needs (within reason) and it's up to you to push yourself within your own level and beyond - but don't worry, I will be there to make sure you do! For example, if you are a beginner and you are doing the same exercise as someone who is more advanced, you can slow it down, focus on doing the movement correctly and do half the reps they do. With commitment and consistency you will be up there smashing as many (if not more) reps out as they did. You work to your own capacity as long as you exhaust yourself - who cares what others have done. It's you against you.

If you live outside of Frome, I can offer online programmes which you can follow at your own home or at your local gym.
If you’re a runner, I can conduct a running analysis to assess your running style to identify any areas that can be improved, be it any weaknesses or just bad habits.
