🎯 Distance Control Challenge – Advanced Junior Group ⛳
Tonight’s session was all about wedge and iron distance control using
The challenge? Players had to hit 8 different target yardages between 30 and 100 yards and score based on how many yards they finished above or below the target. The lower the total score, the better.
For example, A shot carrying 30 yards when the target was 40 would score 10 points. Precision matters.
👏 A big shoutout to Edwyn, who produced an excellent total with scores of 38 and 43, showing impressive consistency and control across all eight distances. The ability to repeatedly control carry distance is one of the most important skills in scoring well, and Edwyn demonstrated that brilliantly tonight.
At Dunes, we believe the best learning happens when practice has a purpose. By turning technical skills into competitive games, our players stay engaged, challenge themselves under pressure, and develop the control and decision-making that transfers directly to the golf course.
