Our on-line booking system is now live - allowing you to book the tennis courts (MUGA court 1 or MUGA court 2) or the astro pitch. Prices and availability are all visible on the system. You will be issued with a code allowing you to access the courts for the duration of your booking. It will be your responsibility to ensure the gate is securely closed when you leave. We are thrilled to see the near completion of our major project for 2025/26.

Following community consultations last year, we got a clear message that more all-weather training space was required in Fraserburgh. FSLSDT set about an extensive exercise to attract funding to make this possible. We are hugely grateful to those organisations who generously supported us:
UK Shared Prosperity Fund, Aberdeenshire Council, Moray Offshore Windfarm (East) Ltd, Gray & Adams, Fraserburgh & District Motor Club, the Fraserburgh Feuars Managers and also to the Veterans Xmas Football match for their donation. Huge thanks also go to our hard-working committee who worked tirelessly (and on a voluntary basis) to identify and secure funding, and deliver this exciting project which offers fantastic new football, tennis and basketball facilities for Fraserburgh and surrounding communities.

We'd also like to acknowledge the high quality workmanship provided by Hunter Construction (Aberdeen) Ltd along with their subcontractors. Keeping work local to the area was important to us.

While we wait for the paint to cure on the new tennis courts, instructions are being drawn up to let you know what to do to get access to the new facilities. We plan to host a couple of open days to show off the new facilities and explain how the booking system will work.

We are very disappointed to see that the football dugout at the South Links site (next to the running track) has been vandalised. This was only a few days after it had previously been repaired (following vandalism the previous Monday or Tuesday). We believe that it is the same two boys who have done this.
They were seen smashing the perspex at approximately 3pm on Monday 20th April and then leaving on one bike. We have their details, checking CCTV and the police are now involved.

The South Links site is run solely by volunteers as a Charity for the good of the community and they give their time and energy freely and selflessly. Its therefore hugely disappointing when two young people decide to spoil it for everyone else who enjoy their sport in these areas.

If you were in the vicinity between 3pm and 3:30pm Monday and saw anything, please can you let the police know, or pm us through this page.

Great to see folks using the running track now that the weather is improving. Just a reminder that FSLSDT does not receive any public funding for the facilities and is dependent on users paying a small price. It’s only £2 per session (paypal [email protected]) or if you’re a regular user, jump on to https://www.entrycentral.com/Fraserburgh_Running_Track for an annual fee of £35 (or £25 if you’re with an affiliated club.

Or if you are a club who has groups using the facilities (yes we know who you are 🙂!), please get in touch to set up a regular booking schedule and payment.

Please also follow all rules set out on the info board at entrance to the facility.

It is with great sadness we announce the sudden but peaceful passing at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary on Tuesday December 26, 2023, of Norman (Nomy), aged 56 years. Adored husband and best friend of Lorraine, loving dad of Danny, Shaun and the late Roxy dog, dear father-in-law of Laura and Lauren, a very proud granda of Elle and Nolan, a much loved brother, brother-in-law, uncle and good friend to many. A celebration of Norman's life will take place from Alexander Buchan & Son Funeral Chapel, Denmark Street, Fraserburgh on Friday January 5, 2024, at 11am, to which all family and friends are respectfully invited, thereafter cremation private. Family flowers only please but donations may be given in lieu, if so desired for MND Scotland. Please wear a touch of green. "You'll never walk alone"
