EleniYoga - Yoga Classes in South Gloucestershire and around Classes of gentle, flowing Dru Yoga suitable for all ages and all bodies with a qualified Dru Yoga teacher, Breath Coach and Calm and Relax Coach.

Welcoming and fun! Classes of gentle, flowing Dru Yoga suitable for all ages and all bodies! When I first walked into a Dru Yoga class, it changed my life. I love to teach and share the gentle, beautiful Dru sequences. I love to see the calmness and peace in students' eyes at the end of the class and love to hear their laughter when we've having fun! As someone who came to yoga late in life, I'm very aware that we're not all bendy and without health issues - my classes are accessible to all.

🔥🥵🥵🥵 Hot weather update. No more classes this week - Rangeworthy tonight and Alveston tomorrow morning are now cancelled.

Everyone has been rebooked.

Keep cool🧊🍨and hydrated 💦💧and I'll see you next week!

Firstly - for those who were in the early class last night at The Manor Hall At Coalpit Heath , the reason we were shaken by the thunder and blinded by the lightning was a strike to a telegraph pole 200 yards away!

Weather impact on this week's remaining classes - due to the extreme heat forecast, Wednesday evening's class at Rangeworthy Village Hall is cancelled.

Wednesday morning's class at Rangeworthy Village Hall and Thursday morning's class at Alveston Youth Centre are still on, as the mornings are much cooler!

21/06/2026

You may have noticed that the weather forecast for this week is hot. 🥵☀️☀️

Please wear loose clothes and, if you can, have footwear which slips easily off and on - if it's cooler outside in the shade I will try to take classes outside wherever possible.

Bring extra water. Move as slowly as you need to. Sit (or lie) down when you need to.

Never fear, classes will be heat friendly!

Anyone who comes to Monday evening classes at The Manor Hall At Coalpit Heath be aware of the road closure next week from 8pm. Avoid the potholes on Church Road which is the diversion route!

UPDATE - 🌧️DELAYED DUE TO WET WEATHER🌧️
Please note, we have received the following update from South Gloucestershire Council regarding this road closure:
These works have been temporarily postponed due to weather conditions. The wet road surface means the new road markings cannot be applied. The situation is being closely monitored, and the works are expected to resume within a week.

Message from South Gloucestershire Council:
A432 Badminton Road – Active Travel Improvement Works (A432 overnight closure 8pm - 6am between Nibley Lane & Culvert Avenue, from Mon 9 February for ONE WEEK)

Essential upgrade works will begin week commencing 9 February 2026 on the A432 between Nibley Lane and the Culvert Avenue Roundabout. Works will run for around 12 weeks.

Traffic changes:

• Middle weeks: Narrow lanes 24/7 + temporary overnight traffic lights
• Some noise expected overnight
What’s being improved:
• New segregated footpaths & cycle lanes
• Better junction layouts
• Safer pedestrian & cyclist crossings
• Upgraded walking, cycling and bus facilities
• Resurfaced cycle track using green asphalt
