Well that’s got to be a record weekend: Clovelly Pilot Gig Club ( Devon) Saturday, and Harbour Rowing Club, Boscastle ( Cornwall) on Sunday. Not only that, our lovely Brendan taking a social session in Bristol Harbour.

Clovelly never fails to entertain, so much effort and organisation and really honoured to get an invite to Harbour’s inaugural regatta, teaming up with Port Isaac Rowing Club.

Thank you all for your hard work and a cracking weekend.

Avon Corinthians are proud to be volunteering with Young Bristol who are the Bristol International Balloon Fiesta official charity partner.

Join them at the Arena Takeover!

To kick off the weekend, from 10:30am – 3:30pm, Young Bristol will be bringing fun, exciting activities and workshops to the main arena at the Bristol International Balloon Fiesta.

There will be something for the whole family to enjoy – come on down and have fun!

Saturdays row to Clevedon was really humbling, following four swimming buddies on their quest to swim the brown waters of the Bristol Channel from Portishead to Clevedon to raise awareness and funds for their good friend Ross who has recently been diagnosed with MND.

Ross was pilot in one of our boats and we watched the swimmers launch off of Battery Point, waved off by Olympian Baroness Sharron Davies.

Flanked by RNLI Portishead and Clevedon Coastal, the swimmers made it round the pier in just under two hours and have raised over £7k.

Really impressive total and really impressive swimming from the team.

On Saturday ACRC will be supporting this bunch of friends who are swimming from Portishead to Clevedon in support of their good buddy Ross who has been diagnosed with MND.

If you see us or them pass by, please give us a wave. Arriving down at Clevedon after 10 and hope to be able to welcome the successful swimmers from there.
