A few weeks have passed since the Paddle UK SUP English Riviera Festival and ICF SUP World Cup, and I’m still smiling when I think back to it.
What an incredible experience it was to be part of such a special event on the beautiful English Riviera. 💙
I felt so honoured to be invited by Paddle UK to present the Opening Ceremony, provide live commentary throughout the event and have the pleasure of co-presenting the medal ceremonies with the lovely Sarah Thornley.
One of the biggest highlights was being part of the commentary team alongside Sarah SUPjunkie.uk with Simon SUPfm Podcast and Anna TotalSUP bringing all the energy from the beach. It was such a fantastic group to work with, and I learned so much from everyone.
A huge thank you to Paddle UK for trusting me with this opportunity, and to everyone who worked tirelessly to make it happen. The passion and teamwork throughout the event were inspiring to see.
A special mention to Brendon Prince Adventures for turning his vision into a reality and helping to create an event that truly showcased our sport on the world stage.
Congratulations to all the organisers, volunteers, officials, partners, sponsors and, of course, the incredible athletes. You all made it an event to remember.

We're excited to be teaming up with Cornwall Wildlife Trust marine team to bring you a series of special evening wildlife kayaking experiences on the beautiful Fowey Estuary!

As the day begins to wind down, we'll head out onto the water to explore peaceful creeks and hidden corners of the estuary, keeping watch for kingfishers, herons, egrets, seals, mullet and much more. Along the way, you'll hear fascinating stories about the wildlife and conservation work that makes this place so special.

Whether you're completely new to kayaking or you've paddled before, this relaxed two-hour experience is a wonderful way to connect with nature from a unique perspective.

And to round off the evening? Why not head to the Fishermans Arms in Golant for a well-earned drink and something to eat overlooking the river (pre booking for food advised 😊).

We’ve been a little quiet on here lately because we’re in full swing with our school season – and we’re absolutely loving it! 🤩
Our local estuary school groups have been getting stuck into paddleboarding, kayaking, sailing with Fowey Gallants Sailing Club Tuition, and gig rowing with Fowey Gig Club, alongside marine exploration and water-confidence sessions. 🚣‍♀️
These sessions always make us smile, and year after year we see the incredible benefits they bring. Watching young people grow in confidence, learn new skills, and build a connection with the ocean and their local environment is what it’s all about. 💙
A big thank you to FHC who help to make this possible 😊 Here’s to plenty more adventures, learning, and splashing fun ahead!

Spring is finally here (sort of! 😅), and half term is just around the corner. Here’s hoping for some settled weather — calm thoughts people! 😌🧘‍♀️
One thing we hear time and time again from our lovely clients this time of year is just how good it feels to be back outside again: seeing nature come back to life, getting out on the water, and enjoying that amazing sense of wellbeing that comes with being outdoors. And honestly, we couldn’t agree more.
So here’s to spring, watery adventures, and making the most of the great outdoors!
Now all we need is for the weather to stop acting like it’s got commitment issues… 🌦️😂

Check out this picture of Ellie… not sure she was expecting this when we said we were going to take some pictures 😂
One minute you’re paddling along, next minute you’re face-to-face with a handful of seaweed (and probably a few hidden creatures too!).
But every day is a chance to explore and learn.
This is exactly what our Ocean School is all about — getting stuck in, asking questions, and learning without even realising it.
There’s always a bit of “what is THAT?!”, a few laughs, and loads of little discoveries along the way.
It’s not classroom learning… but somehow it sticks a whole lot more.
