Fowey Gallants Sailing Club Tuition Fowey Gallants Sailing Club provide sailing lessons for children, teenagers and adults RYA powerboat PB1 and PB2 and Safety Boat courses.

Fowey Gallants Sailing Club RYA Training Centre provides the following:-

RYA dinghy sailing lessons for children, teenagers and adults. First Aid and Marine SRC shore-based courses

We run the RYA ‘Onboard’ Youth Sailing Scheme courses on Tuesday and Thursday evenings for local children. These sessions are run by Instructors and parents who volunteer their time which helps us to keep the cours

Our full courses are over 5 mornings Monday – Friday. In school holidays these are focussed on youth sailors but we can accommodate adults if required. The afternoons are dedicated to those wanting one-off sessions but we can provide these in mornings if space allows. Or try a ‘discover sailing’ session on our Venture keelboat. Courses or sessions for small groups, families or individuals can also be arranged subject to availability – please email us at the address below.. RNLI Fowey Water Safety Team Life Jacket Clinic and Flare Disposal event. Fowey Lifeboat station 20th June 11.00 - 16.00

• Over the last 2 Lifejacket clinics held in Cornwall approximately 65% failed the assessment, some were brand new! Bring yours along no matter how old and find out how to check yours.

• Flare Disposal organised and managed by TMS in association with Ocean Safety. Maximum of 6 flares per person, a disposal cost contribution or £3.00 per flare will be applied.

• TMS will also be on hand to sell replacement flares, Lifejacket spares and other safety equipment.

• Note: Flair disposal is organised and managed by TMS. The RNLI has no facility for flare disposal and are therefore unable to receive out of date flares.
