Today, myself and Rocky were asked to join Lynne, Brooke and Alisa on there charity climb of Ben Nevis whilst raising some vital funds for the Cornhill Macmillan centre in Perth.

Lynne was celebrating 10 years of winning the fight against cancer and they decided to challenge themselves to get to the top. The weather played ball, and we got some amazing views at the top.

So far, they’ve smashed their target, but let’s see if we can raise it further like the girls did today. Here’s a link to their page.

A lot of people have noticed I haven’t posted on here for a while. I’ll be away for the rest of the year on another task that’s really worth while. Unfortunately, I can’t say what it is at the moment for security reasons.

I won’t be taking anymore bookings and I’ve already been in touch with my clients booked in to let them know the situation.

Ill hope to try and get a few days on the hills this year but it’s looking unlikely.

I’ll update socials as and when I can, and if I can let you know what I’m doing then I will because it’s something pretty cool.

For now, take care everyone and well be back in 2024!

Great news for the Cairngorm Mountain Resort!

It’s the announcement all our snowsports enthusiasts have been waiting for… the reinstatement works for Cairngorm Mountain’s funicular railway are now complete. After a complex engineering project to strengthen the viaduct and install a new control system, journeys on the funicular railway can now recommence.

The funicular will run regularly subject to weather conditions from tomorrow. We’re looking forward to welcoming back our first passengers as they travel to the top slopes for snowsports this season.

I’ve had a great day out in the Cairngorm mountains today running a winter skills course with Simon, Anton, Charlie, Scott and Lucy. A bit of planning with the weather made sure we managed to keep out of the wind for aslong as possible and avoid the incoming rain which started just as we drove off the mountain. Brilliant!

Some mega impressive efforts on the ice axe arrests by all of the guys.

As 2022 closes we’ve had a fantastic year. From taking an expedition in Nepal and meeting some new amazing friends. To climbing Ben Nevis a fair few times. It’s been amazing.
