“Really disappointed with Saturday's result and performance. I thought we were far too passive in our play, there was a real lack of aggression in everything we did and we were miles off it. We conceded some truly horrific goals and when you make such basic errors you’re going to get punished and that’s exactly what happened. Fair play to Thurso they fully deserved the win, the better team on the day.
It would be easy for me to go on about the number of key players we are missing but the squad we had available should have been capable of getting a result and we didn’t, simple as that.
We absolutely need to start finding some consistency in our performances and results as the start to the season hasn’t been what I’d expect from this group, it hasn’t clicked yet but I have every confidence that it will and we can start putting together a consistent run of results.
The games don’t get any easier with a Quarter Final next against top of the league Inverness Athletic so we’re going to have to improve massively if we want to progress.”
