Was it Joy 5.5? Well on the whole yes, 9 long pitches of fun trad climbing in the sun and some scree skiing.... but pitch 10 and the scramble off in a thunderstorm with random object squeaking (if you know, you know👀) eerr no that was not joy 😬

We've been out and about since moving back into the van.

Pics 1-5 are from a hike from Lake Louise through Paradise Valley, camping over night in the fog, with the faint sounds of mini avalanche all around 😳 (they sounded much worse than were). The next day we hiked up and over Sentinal Pass to Lake Moraine.

Pics 6,7 are having a great day out climbing in Grotto Canyon and a nice reminder of what the sunny day feels like.

Pics 8,9 are hiking up to twin falls and Sherbrooke Lake respectively. Both done in very wet weather.

Pics 10-15 are from Dinosaur Provincial Park(also know as the Bad Lands for its dramatic desert and other planet appearance) and from the Royal Tyrrell Museum. I've never been more excited and in awe of dinosaurs, especially the Albertosauru; who knew Alberta was one of the dinosaur capital of the world?

Heart Line 17 pitches (1061 m) of 5.9 A0 climbing. The route comes with a short aid pitch, lots of stunning slab climbing and scrambles along the way. It was a so much fun to do the route with but it turns out you hardly see someone on such a long day as you only pass briefly on the belays.
