With our first season back in football finished we have a few thank you posts to share with you over the coming weeks.

First of all a huge thank you to Mosset Tavern and Gordon for their support of our football club helping getting us back on the map and up and running with our league entry.

Full Time Result 💙⚽️

We exit the cup this evening following a 5-3 defeat to FC Bishopmill this evening.

Very disappointing to lose after playing really good football for most of the evening. This result also now concludes the 2026 season for the club and now we will take some time before building towards our 2nd season now we’re back.

Cup action tonight as we take on FB Bishopmill through in Elgin at Pinefield. As it’s the cup, it’s knock out football so nothing more than a win will do tonight to try and progress to the next round.

This week we’ve Craig Robertson who is sponsored by Big Hep and Helen’s Cake Creations. Always giving 100% both on and off the pitch, Craig will be looking to fire the lads on to a win this evening.

League business is now over and we have a week off before we take part in the final cup of the 2026 season.

Full Time Result 💙⚽️

Back to back wins to finish this season as we beat Riverside Thistle 4-3 ensuring a 6th place finish in the league.

A good game down at Riverside which saw us take the lead but by half time we were trailing 3-2. We managed to score another 2 goals in the second half to secure the 3 points and turn the game around.

Thanks to Riverside Thistle FC for inviting us back for some after match hospitality at the Westerlea, very much appreciated 💙

We now have a free week before we take part in the final cup of the season.

Match Day 💙⚽️

The final league match of the season takes place tonight as we travel to Nairn to face Riverside Thistle. Both teams are on 21 points with Mosset currently holding down the 6th spot on goal difference. A win or a draw for Mosset will secure 6th with a defeat dropping us down to 7th. The team who finishes 6th will also avoid next weeks prelim round in the cup.

This week we’ve Connor Finlayson who is available to sponsor after signing for the club within the last month. Connor got us up and running with a cross field assist last week and will be looking to follow it up with another good performance tonight.

Back to winning ways last night beating Elgin Caley 6-1
away at bird s**t park Pinefield.

A game we were well in control of for most parts despite losing a goal very early on. Mosset kept pressing and found the finishing touches need to go on and score 6 securing the 3 points. An absolute stand out goal from Logan Ward the pick of the bunch, hitting a shot right in to the top corner from a fair distance with his left foot. Good job he didn’t listen to the gaffer telling him not to shoot after an earlier missed chance.

We have our final league game this Friday against Riverside a fixture which will decide who finishes 6th in the league and an opportunity to avoid the prelim round of the cup.

Full Time Result 💙⚽️

A disappointing defeat last night in the Forres derby against Carisbrooke. Mosset had plenty of chances and played really good football for long periods of the game but just couldn’t find the back of the net.

We move on to our last couple of league games next week which wraps up the league before the end of season cup matches.

Back in action tonight with an earlier kick off at 18:45. A Forres derby against The Carisbrooke. There are 4 points separating the two sides so it’s a must win for Mosset to close the gap to aim for a top half finish.
