A tough morning for our U8 Sunday Blacks, who suffered their first defeat as a group against Rainford Rangers.

A difficult opening saw Rainford take control, but the boys battled back with three goals before half-time.

There was a much-improved defensive performance in the second half, with Blacks creating some good chances, but Rainford held on for the win.

Plenty to work on in training, but the boys were still smiling at the final whistle and will be ready to go again next week! 👏

A much-improved performance yesterday from the U11 Eagles in an entertaining draw against FCN Reds.

The boys were stronger in the tackle, moved the ball well and created plenty of chances. Having led twice, they were unlucky not to come away with the win.

Lots of positives to take into next week! 🟠

FCFC Phoenixes continued their unbeaten start to the season with a victory over Crosby Stuart, who also came into the game with a 100% record.

After an evenly contested start, the girls began to take control, winning their individual battles and creating chances down the wings. Leading 3-0 at half-time, Phoenixes stepped things up further in the second half to secure an impressive win 👏

From an early goal down to a well-deserved win! 💪🔥

showed real character against a strong Huyton PSG side who started brightly and played some good football.

The boys gradually grew in confidence, pressing with purpose and moving the ball forward quickly to create plenty of chances.

It was great to see the boys putting what they’ve been working on in training into practice, staying composed on the ball, trusting their teammates and making good decisions 👏

A spirited performance from our U7 Lightning boys today in a competitive encounter with George’s Hawks!

The boys showed plenty of determination, particularly in the closing stages, producing a fantastic fightback to come agonisingly close to levelling the game.

It’s great to see the lads growing in confidence and settling into their football more with every game!

Well played, Lightning! 👏

Our U8 Blacks continued their unbeaten start to the season with a victory over Quarry Green Thunder, earlier today.

The boys had to dig deep after a difficult first half, finding themselves behind at the break against a determined Quarry Green side.

Despite falling behind again early in the second half, the Blacks showed plenty of character to turn things around, with improved passing, greater energy and some clinical finishing helping them secure the win.

A fantastic response from the boys, making it four wins from four! 👏⚽️

Lightning came away with the win, but there was plenty to enjoy from both teams, including some great goalkeeping, determined tackling and lots of effort across the pitch.

The U9 Girls’ Blacks continued their unbeaten start to the season with a victory against a good Litherland Athletic side 👏

The girls played some lovely attacking football, creating plenty of chances and showing growing confidence in possession.

Their passing and decision-making were particularly impressive, with the hard work in training continuing to pay off.

An all-FCFC meeting this morning as our U8 Girls’ Fireflies took on the U8 Foxes! 🧡⚽

The Foxes came away with the win, but both teams played some lovely football, with plenty of chances, great goalkeeping and determined defending throughout.

Lovely to see all the girls come together for a photo afterwards, showing the friendship and team spirit across the club! 👏
