A first league outing of the season for the U12 Fire today, as they took on Sporting Childwall in the LCP.

After a difficult start, the boys showed plenty of character to battle their way back into the game before half-time. A good early test against a talented Childwall side and a reminder of the level of competition they’ll face this season.

What a way to kick off the new season! 🦁⚽️

It was fantastic to see so many Lions & Lionesses down at Deansgate this morning, enjoying their football and having lots of fun!

From some of our youngest players having their very first taste of football to plenty of familiar faces returning for another season, there was a real buzz!

A big thank you to the RDF Sports Coaching team for delivering another fun-filled morning for the children, and to everyone who came along and joined us.

It was great to have so many of our managers together ahead of the new season, sharing updates and getting everything in place for the months ahead.

Saturday mornings at FCFC return this weekend, with our Lions & Lionesses sessions kicking off a brand new season at Deansgate Lane! 🙌

Fun, fast-paced football with RDF Coaching, helping boys and girls aged 3+ build their skills, confidence and love of the game 🧡

🕘 9am – Boys aged 3+ (Nursery & Reception)
🕙 10am – Boys Year 1+
🕙 10am – Girls aged 3+
📍 Deansgate Lane, Formby

A fantastic day for our Formby FCFC Women | She Inspires at the Breast Cancer Awareness Cup in Liverpool today. 🩷⚽️

We had two teams competing in the women’s 5-a-side tournament, with both squads playing the entire day with no substitutes and no recognised goalkeeper!

FCFC Blacks battled their way to a very respectable fourth-place finish, while FCFC 1 finished third and also picked up the tournament’s Fair Play Trophy. 🏆👏

It was also great to see a few players making their FCFC debuts and getting their first taste of action with the Tigers.

A big thank you to Liverpool Homeless Football Club for organising the tournament and bringing so many teams together in support of breast cancer awareness. 🩷

The Tigers are growing and we’d love to add to the squad! 🐯

We’re currently looking for new players to join the team ahead of the new season, as well as a kit sponsor to support the Ladies Tigers.

Our U7 Thunder and Lightning teams headed to Jmo Reception yesterday for another afternoon of tournament football ⚽️

It was a great opportunity for the teams to test themselves against some strong opposition, with plenty of football and lots of valuable experience gained along the way.

The players kept going throughout, worked hard for each other and continued to grow in confidence as the tournament went on.

Another good experience for this new group and plenty to take into the season ahead. Well done, Thunder and Lightning! 👏⚽️
