Here’s a few of our ponies living their best lives! In summer they all have field shelters and natural shelter, automatic feeders that are easy to empty and clean so they keep fresh and cool, salt licks, a fresh sea breeze (were very near the sea) and airy stables for those who struggle. They’ve all managed really well but pleased cooler weather is coming!

And exciting news….. a grass free track is coming!! It should be done this week around a 3 acre field in a figure of 8 with numerous hay stations and then using their current grass free mini paddock as feeding station…. More to come!! X

Some of our lovely liveries enjoying the sunshine and new salt licks! Ground is ok - looking forward to getting into summer grazing for those that can - some of our paddocks are small and minimal grass intentionally for a few horses that need that x also a few pictures of some of our resting paddocks - now harrowed!!

It’s been a hot weekend!! So glad all fields have shelters - they use them far more in summer than winter - we did bobbing apples, sloppy feeds, cold carrots, hosing down, bringing in to the cool stables and a mist/sprinkler in the mares field. All managed fine!! Always super careful as lots of oldies can struggle in the heat x

We have a space (possibly 2) in the ‘gelding with grass’ herd. They are currently on a track with long grass / standing hay - being allowed sections at a time. They are 4 lovely boys - 2 are in the herd part time as they need extra TLC. They are all pretty chilled and we are looking for a sensible gelding up to 15.2hh to join them. Their field has 2 field shelters and lots of space.

£350 pcm which includes daily checks, hay, feed, regular trims and worming programme. I live on site and can see them from the house. They are spoilt rotten and every care given.

All horses must be fully retired, barefoot and happy to live out. There are stables when extra TLC is needed.

It was fly spray, sun cream and fly mask time today - the rain has stopped and the flies are out in force. We are lucky here as being near the coast so we normally have a good breeze that keeps them at bay. They’ve also got the choice of the field shelters that stay cool and have a nice breeze going through x
